50°C violet wax play candle — Cannabis & Cactus
At 50°C, this candle melts into the softest warmth your skin has ever felt — barely hotter than breath, enough to make every nerve awaken without a trace of sting. The violet wax pools slowly, carrying a green, earthy scent of cannabis leaf and raw cactus that turns any room into a quiet somewhere else. Made for first-time wax play and long sensual sessions between couples, it is the gentlest entry point to temperature play — where curiosity leads and trust follows. A single wick keeps the melt pool shallow and controlled, with a subtle shimmer that catches low light as the wax traces across skin. This is how the conversation starts.

""50°C was the first candle I made — everything in the SenseMe range traces back to it. I wanted something that would feel like warm breath across skin: present enough to notice, soft enough to trust. Cannabis and cactus came from scent testing — these were the two notes that settled people rather than excited them. If only one candle ever left this studio, it would be this one.""

Questions
Everything you need to know about our wax play candles, ingredients, and safe usage.
Visit Help CenterYes. At 50°C the wax lands as a distinct, spreading warmth — similar to water in a hot bath. You won't feel a sting or a burn, but every nerve under the skin registers the heat. Most people describe it as deeply relaxing rather than intense. It is the ideal starting temperature if you have never tried wax play before.
This candle is formulated for wax play, not massage — the wax hardens as it cools so you can peel it off. If you want a candle that melts into massage oil, look for a dedicated massage candle with a higher oil content. However, many couples enjoy rubbing the warm wax into skin briefly before it sets, which creates a short massage-like sensation.
The violet dye is cosmetic-grade and washes off skin completely with warm water and soap. On white or very light sheets, faint colour traces can remain after washing. We recommend using a dark towel or dedicated sheet underneath during play. The wax itself peels off most fabrics once cooled and hardened.
It depends on the size and how much wax you pour per session. As a rough guide: the S size (120 g) gives 3–5 sessions, M (160 g) gives 5–8, L (250 g) gives 8–12, and XL (350 g) gives 12–18 sessions. A typical session uses 15–25 g of wax. Longer, full-body pours use more.
The scent is green, herbal, and slightly earthy — imagine the smell of fresh leaves after rain mixed with the dry mineral bite of a desert plant. It is not sweet or floral. The fragrance is subtle while burning and doesn't overpower the room, making it ideal for intimate settings where you want atmosphere without distraction.
50°C is the lowest temperature in our range and the safest option for sensitive skin. The wax is made from a natural soy-paraffin blend with no synthetic fragrances or harsh dyes. We recommend doing a patch test on the inner wrist before your first full session. If you experience any redness or irritation within 60 seconds, discontinue use. People with skin conditions or allergies should consult a doctor first.
Customer Reviews
"Bought this as a gift for my best friend's anniversary. She texted me the next morning saying it was the most thoughtful gift she'd ever received. The packaging is discreet and premium. The candle itself is beautifully made. Five stars for the product and the experience it creates."
"Beautiful quality candle, lovely scent, very gentle warmth. If you're experienced with wax play you may want something hotter — this is truly beginner-level. But for what it is, it's perfect. The single wick gives you great control over the pour. Will be buying the Duo set next."
"Our very first wax play candle. We were nervous but the 50°C temperature is so gentle — it really does feel like warm bathwater on skin. The cannabis-cactus scent is earthy and calming, nothing like what I expected. The violet shimmer is beautiful by candlelight. We've already ordered the 55°C to try next."
"Perfect beginner candle. The temperature is genuinely gentle — you can pour from almost any height without worry. The wax peels off cleanly and the scent is subtle and grounding. We spent an hour just exploring and learning each other's reactions. Exactly what a first experience should be."
"I have very sensitive skin and was worried, but the patch test was fine and the wax felt wonderful. Warm, soft, zero irritation. The violet colour is gorgeous against pale skin. The S size has lasted us four sessions already with plenty left."
"I ordered from a different brand before and the wax was too hot and smelled chemical. This is completely different — genuinely gentle, natural scent, and the wax comes off clean. You can tell it's handmade with care."
"Arrived in four days to Brussels. Packaging plain, no indication of contents. The candle looks and smells premium. We've used it twice so far — very gentle, very pleasant. Might try the set next time."
"This has become part of our routine. Light it, wait ten minutes, and it's the easiest way to shift from everyday mode to something more intentional. The L size lasts us about two months at one session per week."
"It's well made and the scent is interesting, but honestly at 50°C I barely felt it. I think if you've done any kind of sensation play before, you'll want to skip to 60°C at least. Fine for an absolute first timer though."
"Wasn't expecting the shimmer effect on skin — looks beautiful in candlelight. The temperature is very forgiving, which let us focus on technique instead of worrying. Burn time was solid for the M size. Will be back for a higher temp."
"Nice quality candle. The 50°C is really mild — I could barely tell it was wax and not just warm oil. If you want to actually feel something, start with 55 or 60. But for someone totally new, this is a safe intro."
"Bought this as a surprise for Valentine's. The packaging was discreet, which I appreciated. We used it that evening and it completely changed the mood. The low temperature means there's no fear involved, just warmth and connection."
"The candle itself is lovely — the shimmer looks great in low light. I wish the scent was a bit stronger, it fades quickly once you stop burning. The wax temperature is very gentle. Good for a first time."
"I was nervous it would hurt. It doesn't. At all. It just feels warm and relaxing. The wax peels off easily and the colour is gorgeous. We went through the S size in about four sessions."
"We had zero experience and this was perfect. The warmth is gentle, more like a warm compress than anything scary. My partner relaxed immediately. The scent is unusual in a good way — earthy, not perfumey. Already ordered the 55°C to try next."
