Why choose SenseMe wax play candles
Regular candles burn at 60–80°C with no consistency — one drip might feel warm, the next scalds. That unpredictability is dangerous on skin. SenseMe candles are formulated with a soy-paraffin blend tuned to a single target temperature, verified with infrared testing during development. The result is a candle that behaves the same way every time you light it. Body safety starts with the wax. Our blend is free from paraben, phthalate, and synthetic dye additives. The cosmetic-grade pigments we use wash off skin completely with warm water. Every batch is dermatologically patch-tested before it ships.
The temperature tier system — Feather, Ember, Blaze — exists because no single temperature is right for everyone. Beginners build confidence with 50–55°C, where the wax feels like warm bathwater. Experienced players explore 70–75°C, where sensation is immediate and intense. The progression between tiers is the core of the SenseMe experience, and our curated sets are designed to guide that journey.
Every candle is handmade in Lisbon by our founder Olga, who also leads in-person wax play workshops where you can learn technique hands-on.
