70°C purple wax play candle — Vanilla & Tobacco
At 70°C, a wax play candle stops asking and starts telling. The wax hits skin and your body responds before your mind has a say — a sharp, involuntary intake of breath, then heat spreading outward like a hand pressing down. This is the temperature people come back for. The deep purple wax carries vanilla and tobacco in the same breath — something sweet dissolving into something rough, a scent that contradicts itself the way intensity and tenderness can exist in the same moment. Three wicks keep the pool deep and ready. Not for the uncertain. Made for people who already know what they are looking for.

""This is the candle people come back for. 70°C is intense — the wax hits skin and your body responds before your mind catches up. Vanilla and tobacco was a deliberate contradiction: something sweet and something rough, in the same breath. I made this for the people who already know what they want.""

Everything you need to know about our wax play candles, ingredients, and safe usage.
Visit Help CenterYes, when used by experienced practitioners with proper technique. 70°C is the entry point to the Blaze tier (advanced). The wax is body safe — the same natural soy-paraffin blend used across the SenseMe range, dermatologically tested. The risk at this temperature is thermal, not chemical: pour from too close and the heat is significant. Maintain 25+ cm distance, always patch test, agree on a stop signal, and never use this as your first wax play candle. See our full safety guide.
Yes. Without exception. 70°C assumes you have experience at 50°C, 55°C, and ideally 60–65°C over multiple sessions. Each temperature teaches something — distance control, body-area awareness, reading your partner's signals, aftercare. Jumping to 70°C without this foundation puts you at risk of a painful experience that discourages you from the practice entirely. The 50°C Violet or the Duo Holy Intimacy set are where to begin.
Start at 30–35 cm — further than you might expect. At this distance, the wax cools in the air and arrives as intense warmth with a firm edge. At 20–25 cm, the sting is sharp and immediate. Below 20 cm, the wax hits at near-full temperature and should only be used on muscled areas with explicit ongoing consent. At 70°C, distance is your primary safety tool. Always move in continuous arcs and never hold still over one spot.
The sting at 70°C is faster and sharper — it arrives without warning and your body reacts involuntarily. At 65°C, you feel the sting build over two seconds. At 70°C, the sensation is immediate: a flash of heat, then a deep warmth that spreads and radiates for several seconds longer than at lower temperatures. The experience is less about individual pours and more about cumulative intensity — each successive line of wax builds on the heat already in the skin.
The wax itself is formulated to be body safe at its stated temperature. However, technique matters. Pouring from less than 15 cm, holding the candle still over one spot, or applying wax to thin-skinned areas (inner arm, ribs, face) at 70°C can cause discomfort beyond what is pleasurable and may leave marks that take longer to fade. Proper distance, continuous movement, and clear communication prevent this. This is why we recommend building to 70°C gradually through the SenseMe temperature range.
Warm vanilla bean opens first — round, almost edible. Then a dry tobacco leaf undertow pulls the sweetness into something denser. It is not a dessert scent. Imagine the smell of a leather armchair in a room where someone smoked hours ago. The vanilla is the inhale, the tobacco is the exhale. This scent clings to skin and fabric longer than any other in the SenseMe range — expect traces for several hours after use.
Customer Reviews
"The aesthetic of the purple wax paired with the heavy, rich scent makes the whole experience deeply sensory. The heat level is serious—do not underestimate it. Flawless formulation though, peels right off when cooled."
"Wow. You really need to respect the distance with this one, but when you get it right, it's mind-blowing. The deep purple trails look incredible. After several sessions at 60 and 65, we were ready for this. It delivers."
"This candle is a beast in the best possible way. Not for beginners! You have to move quickly and pour continuously. The scent lingers on skin for hours. Cannot recommend it highly enough for advanced practitioners."
"A beautiful, powerful candle. The 3 wicks consume it quite fast, so I recommend buying the Large size. The sensation is exactly what we were looking for, intense heat that turns into a deep ache. Amazing."
"This is definitely for people who want intense sensation. The heat is immediate and commanding. The 3 wicks give a deep pool very fast. But what surprised me most is the scent—the tobacco balances the vanilla perfectly. Exceptional product."
"We progressed through 50, 55, 60, 65 over six months before reaching this. It was worth the wait. The sensation is immediate and unmistakable. The deep purple colour is dramatic. This isn't casual — it's intentional."
"I jumped here from 55 and that was a mistake. The wax left a red mark that took an hour to fade. Product works as described, the temperature is what it says — I just wasn't ready. Start lower and work up."
"At this temperature you can't fake trust. You either have it or you don't. Using this with my partner felt like reaching a new level of intimacy we didn't know existed. Sounds dramatic but it's true. Beautiful product."
"Forget the temperature for a second — this scent is extraordinary. Sweet, smoky, warm. It fills the room and stays on skin. Combine that with the intensity of 70°C and you have something truly special. Ordered a second one immediately."
"This requires experience. I was at the receiving end and the first drop at close range was a lot. From further away it's thrilling. We use it toward the end of sessions after warming up with lower temperatures. The scent is addictive."
"I've tried the full range and 70 is where I live now. The heat hits fast and your body responds before your brain catches up. Vanilla and tobacco is the perfect contradiction — sweet and rough simultaneously. This candle understands something."
